Watchmen is on the shelf in our library. It’s quite popular. One student was so into it that we also ordered the book “Watchmen and Philosophy.” I would recommend “Understanding Comics” by Scott McCloud.You might want to include some manga as well.

In Memoriam: WJD, my grandfather...
…was born just before the Great War started, and served in the Navy during WWII. I still have his Navy-issue knife (like, bowie-knife-sized) back at my parents house, with his initials carved on the handle.
